receive advice, resources to improve the way they live, healthy food and

4.0 Information

4.1 Levenshulme Inspire Online Survey

The Inspire project aims to redevelop Levenshulme United Reformed Church
into a vibrant multi-purpose community centre. You may recently have
received a paper or e-mail version of the Levenshulme Inspire questionnaire.

The questionnaire is available on the internet, to make it really easy for
you to complete. To complete the online questionnaire, click here
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=R5GJAjw8xkqkoJDtlRjD9A_3d_3d.

In addition, there is a second short questionnaire, about the new community
cafe that is planned for the Inspire building. Youth agency YASP plan to
expand their small but successful internet café, currently located on the
opposite side of the road from the church, to a larger, purpose-designed
café that will serve the community, building users and be run as a youth
training programme. To complete the online questionnaire for YASP, please
click
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=EiDFzOEZCu8iSh9_2bTE4r_2bA_3d_3d.

Thank you very much for your help, from the Levenshulme Inspire group, and
YASP Cafe.

4.2 Your Future, Your Views

Consultation has started on two major strategies to drive Manchester
successfully into the 21st century as a city of national and international
significance.

The city centre strategic plan provides a framework for partnership working
in the core of the conurbation for the next four years.

And the regional centre transport strategy is a blueprint for connectivity
for the travelling public and businesses in Manchester city centre.

Draft versions of both strategies are published on www.manchester.gov.uk.
Your comments are invited. The consultation runs until January 31.

4.3 NCVO response to the OTS-ESRC third sector research centre scoping
exercise
Below is the link to NCVO's response to the proposed research centre. This
builds upon a substantive consultation they have undertaken, together with
discussions with key stakeholders. It identifies their position in relation
to the Centre, plus the principles and themes that flow from their analysis
of the consultation responses.
